The TFBC Scrapbook

Hey, are we still doing this thing?

I haven't heard anything about it for a while.

Alas. So it seems like we're starting to get members now. Of course, we could still use a bit more. Remember, tell everyone that we know that's mildly TFBC vet like to take a gander into what this is about and see if they're interested.

Right now, we're still in the process of working out how we'd like this assembled. Someone contributed the idea that we could just send pages to one of us mod people instead of sending an actual book around. Of course, this will all depend on how we'd like to assemble the book and how nice we'd want it to work. Perhaps if you could, put your input on this post on what you think we should go with.

Either way, even if we get an idea soon, this probably won't start going into effect until late August or so, as there's still tons of TFBC vets out drum corpsing and the like. You know how that goes.

Anywho, until next time!

Hello hello! I'd just like to make a little entry entry for all of you people coming into the community. It seems only appropriate, eh?

Anyways, As you may know, this whole get-up was a grand concoction of Brandy and I, Yvette Anne MacKenzie, putting our great minds put together. It's quite obvious to see that TFBC just ain't what it used to be. Of course, change is inevitable, but it's never bad to reflect and build upon the past. Now, being a Trooper, I can indeed fend for this whole-heartedly. This is why I feel as if this is going to be a grand idea.

Although most of us have all ran away to our little caves placed here in LJ land, wouldn't it be nice to have something a little extra? It would be nice to take advantage of this, as we can with our group. We all know each other well enough that we can ensure privacy and security with this sort of private information. None of us will be stalking anyone, sending sick things in the mail or spreading it over the internet for kicks and giggles, so we have a great thing on our hands.

However, before you get wrapped up into this thing, please, be aware of a few things. This is going to cost a little bit of pocket money, folks. Now, being a frequent sender of boxes myself, I can ensure you that as we will be keeping the book size at a minimum size and weight while still accomodating our needs, and considering that Brandy and I will organize all participant's addresses in such a manner that you will be sending to the next closest person in location to you, the costs shouldn't be more than 3 to 6 dollars, maximum. However, with the memories that this will bring, I can ensure that it will be a valid investment.

What will be done with the book is unsure yet. If you have any suggestions or something of that nature, please, comment, as your idea will be taken into great consideration. Our best guess right now is that when everyone has gotten a chance to make the page, the book will be sent back to one of us happy mods (Brandy or I) where we will scan all of the pages to be hosted on an online picture album readily avaliable for all to see to save on more sending costs, and the actual book will be perhaps sent to Amy, or another member of our chosing.

Anyways, without further talk and ado, I'd like to thank and welcome you all to the group!
